  I used to come here quite often. Over the last years the food has become better at first but lately it seems a little off. Like they are on the backside of the curve and coming down. The service used to be decent and has gotten rather horrible lately, to the point that it has become so vage and unpleasant that it inspired me to write this review and for reference, I am talking about 3 different visits, not just 1 bad experience. I hope the owners read these and get their staff back in the saddle. As usual, getting to the top it one thing, staying there is an entirely different game. I am sure I will try it again sometime in the not foreseeable future but for now I am far from impressed.

  The menu changes constantly. You can only get appetizers Monday thru Wednesday until 930. Only 3 gluten free options on the entire menu. Our waitress discussed dinner options and forgot them so our food was incorrect and she did not remember to bring out dessert. The risotto was bland with over powering thyme and the pieces of ham had chunks of fat attached to it.

  The atmosphere is pleasant. It's a little divey, but it's intentional. The food is interesting and tasty. They do have some simple items on the menu for kids and they don't make you feel like a criminal for being out in public with your offspring. I had the shrimp and grits and it's was complex and spicy. I would have liked more grits if I had my say but overall very yummy.

  I love this place. My favorite in Frederick. Food is delicious. Drinks are super strong. I don't particularly like their infused cocktails, they are too sweet for me, but standard drinks are good. They also have amazing coffee and delicious breakfast. Go a little early because the place is packed for every meal!
